Has anyone tried this feeder?

Thank You @Logar .

I'd not put that out where it could get rained on...
...seeing several places water could run inside.

Wonders if there is an inward shelf on the lower edge of feeding opening, to deter billing out.
True, the lid/door is just butted up against the front of the feeder which then just angles down into the feed tray. Water hitting the lid or front of the feeder will just run down into the feed.

No feeder lip to deter billing feed, one review complained about the feed waste.

It is nice that you can close the lid at night but the rodents would just eat during the day.

In the end it is a metal box that doesn't prevent rodents or wild birds from eating the feed. No different than the Giant hanging feeder other than being prettier. One of the pvc elbow/bucket feeders would be cheaper and not any worse.
