I've been seeing a lot about Mile Four from a breeder I follow and I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it. It sounds nice, but it's pricey and I don't know if it's worth switching to something organic for more than double the feed cost I'm currently paying.

Yes, I use their feed and I'm a fan - so are my chickies.
25 two day old chicks with no learned preference for anything. Identical feeders side by side, one with Mile Four's Certified organic, Non-GMO, corn/soy-meal free, chick starter feed - the other with Natures Best Organic chick starter crumble (from Tractor Supply).
The chicks have zero interest in the Natures Best and won't eat it unless the Mile Four feeder is nearly or completely empty.
- the Natures best is just corn, soy and wheat. I wouldn't even eat it. Meat chickens or Egg chickens - you eat what they eat.
