It comes in a concentrated form that you mix with water, for use on mites and lice. I was just wondering if anyone has used it before and if it works well. I just want a prevention product, I don't have a problem, and I don't want one.

I use it and have for about a year. Not vouching for it yet, but I have had no mites or lice of any kind. I don't use anything else.

I have used it, It works great, but if you ever get a bad infestation use the powder.
I like the poultry protector because one it is all natural, and it helps with prevention.

I wasn't impressed. I still got bugs after using it.

I even mixed it strong and my chickens hated being sprayed with liquid. They prefer the sevin dust and I don't have to fo it but 2 times a year and no bugs ever!

Around here, poultry dust is permethrin/pyrethrins; sometimes it is just pyrethrins. Sevin is carbaryl. They are different insecticides, and it is generally felt that Sevin is more toxic. Pyrethrins are powdered flower petals.

I spray down the whole area with the Poultry Protector about once a month & have not had to spray the birds directly. I have had no mites.

The one time I had mites, a couple of years ago, I was using DE (which obviously does not work), & Poultry Dust faithfully, and I found the mites here resistant to both pyrethrins as well as sevin dust. I dusted every bird individually with both (as well as rotenone). I finally had to treat with Ivermectin to get rid of the mites. I will not use DE, nor sevin, nor rotenone again. Why use a pesticide that does not kill the mites but instead, kills beneficial insects & possibly is a carcinogen (and in the case of rotenone, has been directly linked to Parkinson's disease)?
