Has anyone used this citronella spray to combat mosquitos?

Do you have any other recommendations? Are the tiki torches with citronella oil safe to use around the chickens? What about the citronella plants?

Cintronella plants don't seem to work. I've tried those. You could install a bug zapper which does seem pretty darn effective. Or, make sure you have no standing water which brings out the buggers in the first place.

Some people have luck with Bounce sheets tied in trees. Other people swear by putting water and pennies in a zip lock baggie and hanging it in a tree.
Haven't tried either one, I opted for fly predators.........no flies at all.

Be careful with citronella around chickens--chickens are very susceptible to respiratory distress from aromatics!
