I have a little giant still air and I like mine. If you don't have alot of money to spend and you want to get one locally I think it's a good pick. My temperatures stay steady UNLESS the temperature in the room changes. My bedroom warms up during the day and I have to watch it or I just turn my fan a/c on if it gets too warm. I haven't actually hatched in it yet but I am at day 19 and my eggs are alive and have pipped internally. Hope to see some babies in a day or two.

Oh i did buy the turner for it about a week after I bought the incubator and put my eggs in the turner. That made things alot easier. The temperature knob is VERY sensitive. Barely bump it to go up or down. Also my wire mesh was a little bent and made my eggs roll around if I wasn't very careful. Sure it has some flaws but it does what it's supposed to do.

I am on my third hatch using the LIttle Giant Still Air Incubator (Again, no fan).

The first time, we had 6 eggs in the bator, and only one of the six made it to pip the egg. And that baby didn't make it out of its shell. I think my students and I made many, many errors along the way (Including not having enough humidity).

The second time, after looking over our list of Goods and Bads, we set 14 eggs and 11 of them hatched.

This third time around, I am starting with a new group of students and a new Little Giant (we've added the automatic turner) and we will just have to see how it turns out for the eggs just went in today!

I paid $44.95 for the incubator and then the next week when I went back and bought the turner it was on sale for $39.95.

yea i see them at tsc for 39.99 and the turner are 39.99 well i am thinking about getting one now looks like its fun and interesting. so how long dose it normaly take for the rggs to hatch after you put them in the bator

Most of what I and my partner in Chicken Math have are these LG incubators. We've had some good hatches in them. Main thing is to keep them in an area with steady temperatures, and resist the temptation to open the lid.

i am just going through my options thats it well i would like to get one but done got my limit of chickens today
