Hasn't Molted Yet...

My male Mallard is a house duck. He's 2 years old and has never molted! What's going on? I want him to loose his bad flight feathers.

FYI He's never mated. He's a house duck.

Does it ever go outside? Does it get artificial lights inside? Would certainly mess up molt time I would think.

He may not be wanting to molt because the inside temperature never changes. Im not sure what you could do to make him molt though, Ive heard some sort of stress makes them do it. Like going without water, and food for a day, and light changing drastically. Im not sure how you can do that practically though. Personally, letting my ducks go without water for a day scares me
