Hatch 102!!!!

I don't know what I am doing right now!!! We got our fist baby chicken!!!
We have about 20 more in the incubator - C1 (as it will be named for now - Taco if it is a boy)
my problem is that we left the turner in (it is off) we have egg 22 on a good zip

I am so spazzed out I cant type and I don't know what to do -- do we take the turner out when C1 comes out????

Our tub is way to small for 20 babies!!!

Im scared C1 will hurt it self on the turner

We hatched a chicken!!!!!
and C1 is very happy to be out -- quite vocal!!!
Surprised the cats havent come to investigate!!!

can I see a pic or tell me what type turner and bator you have? I think its best to up your humidity and let them alone to hatch. But I want to confirm this with your bator

Congrats!! @SilverHair hatched in his turners accidentally, the chicks were fine.... lg type turners.

Yup you can put a straw down in and use a syringe to add water and if you add just a drop of food color you can see how full u get it better!!

I wouldnt touch anything just add water, if the chick has issues, grab him out real quick and throw a damp hot papertowel where there are no eggs to bring the humidity back up! COGNRATS!

We have two chicks - one more on the pip -- what is the best bedding newspaper that has been shredded or the shavings?
