Rest in Peace 1970-2018
After a very hard hatch due to temp and humidy issues we managed to save
a few. Most were assisted hatches. Several chicks only lived for a short time
after hatching. It was a heartbreaker but a learning experience. We are taking
a short break from hatching anf have water wigglers on the way.
Most of the pics are from either Specklehen's or Hinkjc's eggs.
These are the ones who made it:
Fluffball Ameracauna - Not sure from who:
Buff Silkie:
Blue Orps and a few more I'm not sure of:
These two are unknown breeds from an EBAY mystery pack. They are a week older
than the babies but SO sweet with them. They have mothered the new babies
and bought themselves a place in our pet/layer flock.
A Delaware the was being picked on by the evil Delaware babies, now part of the
lucky flock:
