Purplechicken- I am feeling your pain. I have 2 silkies out of 3 dozen shipped eggs! I have a dozen in the bator and if I dont' get any this time, I'll just buy started chicks!!

PC - I only sent araucana and silkie in the one batch. So the puffy cheeked one can't be mine. I would really like to see a better pic of the last one (side view and front of face). Regardless, they are all adorable and if you need to try again, just let me know.

Blue Orps - One is weak and not doing well - One is a lighter gray - Is he an orp?

PC, out of the Orp eggs, you could have gotten blue, black or splash. I swear that light one looks like a splash Orp, unless the cheeks are puffy, which I can't tell. The Ameraucanas would be blue or black. The blues come in varying shades, including very light, and I've hatched two very light ones lately in the Orps and in the Ameraucanas.

Aww the first pic liooks like a little chicky grinch, You know what we hatched chicks in first grade and the only one that survived was hatcher before we went on break. So we all favored we would name him Chicky Grinch
