In other news, I think I am starting to hear an occasional muffled peep from the incubator. Or, I'm just imagining things.

I was sitting here working, and I swore I heard a pip. It sounded like the egg breaking. I couldn't log off right away

and had to wait about 15 minutes until my next break. I just checked and YES I have a pip!! *happy dance*

Just wanted to check in... There are 8 eggs outside between two broody hens, and 6 eggs inside in the incubator. I got the eggs a bit late, so hatch day is Sunday for the broodies, and Tuesday for the incubator. Good luck everyone on the hatches!

This past weekend I just hatched out 10 Cream Legbars 7 pullets 3 cockerels. And I am waiting on 2 shipments of Rhodebar eggs. I've never had any Rhodebars before, I am anxious to get the eggs and get started!
