**Hatch Complete**Day 23 on 9 eggs but,....

Hopefully with the shell knocked off it can manage to hatch on it's own. My little one keeps improving and is managing to balance better and actually stand straight instead of crouched. Hopefully your's will fair just fine too!

6th one hatched!!! This one may not have waited for milking but, it waited until I had to go meet the bus to pickup oldest DD from swim lessons and it had started zipping before she left!

Good for you, Kitty! My last Orpington hatched finally. Still have one lone Delaware that has a small pip, but hasn't made a move to zip yet. I have 9 out of 11 Orps to hatch, but one may not make it. It was one that pipped on the wrong end and I'm not really sure its intestines are all the way in. It's been laying on its side all day long, still breathing well, but I dont hold out much hope. Out of the 7 Orps, I have five hatched and one pipped that I mentioned. Wish it would hurry up! I'm going into Day 21 with 9 more Blue/Splash/Buff Orps. (but they wont be hatching in the same bator).

Hatch complete!

I had a feeling the others were gone so I candled them. They were gone. Fully formed just hadn't finshed absorbing the yolk sac.

I set 12 eggs for this hatch.
1 Broke
1 Infertile
1 fizzled out
3 fully developed but didn't absorb yolk or hatch-passed on instead

6 hatched!

I'm getting better at this!
