If the humidity is too high, the chicks can also have trouble hatching. Never trust the readings on your incubator.

Thanks. I though I were somewhat prepared from all the reading&videos through many months (well, years), but nothing can prepare you for the real thing. Glad to have this forum Most important now is to learn as much as possible so that I repeat as few of the mistakes as possible.

Correction; it is between 37.9C/100.2F and 36.9C/98.4F.

That particular issue was probably my fault (trying to correct the problem of too big holes I probably blocked too much of the airflow).

I used a HHD 24S. A cheap chinese one. There's a thread I replied to about how to compensate for the issues/design-flaws it has;
