I gave six eggs to my broody yesterday. It's her first clutch. It will be interesting to see any chicks. They will be silkie X easter egger.

Hi - may I join in? I set 34 mixed eggs in my incubator today but couldn't find any other threads to join, I guess I will just be going nuts for 2 days when you're talking about your babies hatching and I will still be waiting!!!
I have 22 purebred Silver Spangled Hamburgs and 12 mixed (Isa Brown, SLW, Araucana, SSH) eggs in, this is my second incubation (and the bators 3rd go) and it has hatched 50% all 3 times so hoping to go even better this time!
Good luck to everyone

u can join. ill be putting more eggs in this week im still waiting for them to come in the mail. this is going to be my first time hatching eggs. i orderd 6 buff barred bantam cochins which r in the bator right now. got 8 eggs instead of 6 cuz the shipped extra, still waiting on silkie bantams, sizzle silkie bantams, and frizzle cochin bantams. good luck to everyone!

You all do make me jealous. Hubby doesn't want me to get an incubator. He's afraid of how many eggs I might start hatching. So I have the silkies. But if he wants me ordering some good quality barred rock eggs next year he'll have to relent. He really likes them and all we have right now are a few hatchery ones.

I'll post some pics if all goes well. Eggs should be fertile. I'd checked some before giving them to her and the boys are plenty amorous.

hers one egg from my chickens i put in,didnt think it was fertile. only a cockrel in there who can barley crow. lol but looks like its growing to me, been in there since the 19th. kinda looks like a spider in the egg if u look at it closley. clearest pic i could get
