On a website to order chicks, they have "hatch out" (from "not at all likely" to "very likely") as one of the characteristics along with things I know like "egg production" (from "poor" to "best") and "free range" (from "poor" to "best").

Does "hatch out" refer to the broodiness or the likelihood of chicks to hatch in an incubator? Thanks!!

I've seen it used, like you say, to refer to the probability of the breed going broody.

Oh, great, thanks! Google didn't help me at all. lol
