So I just bought 6 emu hatching eggs from this place and it wasn't until after that I saw a thread on here that made me nervous. Does anyone have any experience with them recently? I've spent a little under $200 on these eggs and I'm scared now. I've never had anything but good contact with them. We've even been discussing doing business back and forth once my emu farm gets off the ground but the post I read still makes me nervous. It said half the eggs they got were cracked and someone else replied saying they hadn't gotten their order at all.

I hope you have lots of fenced space for them to run!
Some hatcheries have a replacement policy or Credit for Chicks that don't survive the trip, but I don't think as likely for Eggs, as they can't control Shipping conditions. You might contact your Post Office and ask them to call you to pick up the Hatching Eggs when they arrive to increase your chances. I suggest opening and taking a photo while still at the Post Office also. You could call and ask if they have shipped, and if not perhaps cancel the Order if you've had second thoughts. Do you know others who have raised this breed? Sounds like an adventure!

I actually already have 2. Well, technically they're my brother's and I live on his farm. But I'm buying him the eggs as a thank you for giving me his guest house.

This is our juvenile. His name is Riker. In this pic he's getting some time out of his pen for a change of scenery because the adult we have (Noctus) is mean to him so he gets a bit lonely. His feathers look a little weird cause he'd just been hosed down (It was summer and very hot). And this pic is when he was just an iddle biddle:

And this is Noctus. I love both these birds so much
