HATCH TIME FAN ON or OFF ?????????

Its getting close to lockdown day for me and I wondered if it would be better for me to turn the fan off in the incubator. I thought with it running the membrane might dry out faster. Am I over thinking???

As long as your humidity is right, the fan will help stabilize the temp and dry the chicks faster.

On and just make sure you keep the humidity a little higher than you would in a still air. The dryer the air and the more air movement the higher the humidity needs to be in the bator. Chicks benefit from the increased air flow and the temps stay more even so if possible it's better to leave it on unless your in a really dry climate and you really can't get the humidity up.
