Hatched a disabled chick

My fifth chick hatched but it’s legs are all messed up, I think it might have splay leg and definitely has crooked toes, but the good news is that my partners friend is going to adopt it, she has no other chickens so there will be no problem with being the bottom of the pecking order like my disabled hens (who both died, one from a falcon the other from an illness) so it’ll be going to a good home, but I think I’ll still try to help it.
Does it look like it has splay leg?

Chickens need other chickens, sending it to where there aren't any isn't a great idea. splayed legs and crooked toes can both be fixed easily.
but it would not be a good idea to put the chick in with others. They could trample him. Plus how much money would it cost just to get his feet fixed. No offense its just my opinion

It would cost maybe 15 cents in masking tape to fix the legs if it is indeed splayed leg and the crooked toes. Chickens are flock animals, they biologically need other chickens to be with, their mental health can suffer by themselves. Despite what you've seen on instagram, it's not the best outcome.
It doesn't look like splayed leg or severely crooked toes, at least not enough to affect walking. it could be a tendon issue but we would need better pictures to tell. Like I said it could be a deficiency or neurological.

Oh i thought you meant surgery.

I took it out for a second and it definitely has splay leg, well what I know as splay leg,
The reason I’m worried about putting it with other chickens is cause my last splay leg hen didn’t grow half as much as the others and didn’t get to eat as much and then got an infection and died just last month.
the pictures are the chick with splay leg and Saffron who also had it, even though we fixed her legs and toes she still did not make it.
