Hatched chick rolling around and over other eggs....

I have one early hatcher and expect the rest to be about 12 hours behind this one. She is crawling over them and rolling them around a bit...... is this an issue? She just hatched about an hour ago. I am a what happens in nature kind of person so I am thinking this happens when under a broody hen but just thought I would ask.

The theory is the chicks playing soccer with the other eggs is not an issue. That's what they say anyway. I try to wait until I have more than one chick up and active before I remove mine, but I do remove mine so I don't have a bunch of them in there bouncing around.

Well I now have 2. Lol so when ever they dry off I guess I will move them. I have the others starting to zip I think. If I could just remove the shells that would give them more room. Scared to open it.

What is your humidity at?

Try to just leave them for another 8-12 hours. If they are healthy, they will be fine. If they aren't then they won't be healthy anywhere.

You want that nice humidity to make it easier for the other ones.

You'll soon have a bundle of chicks

They are in my Brinsea mini so I don't know what the humidity level is but there is a lot of condensation. So I know it is up there pretty good and the water level is full so they have a lot of good humidity to come right on out. May make drying hard but they have really gotten active once the level rose up.

These were just my test run for this machine. Some of mine from my girls.... a couple of BCM and my Polish/silkie so I am excited this machine has worked so well. Very happy so far.

I have a polish silkie I hatched out of my last batch in November (actually hatched 2, but the other was a male, beautiful, but he went with the other 4- I ended up with 7 roos all together!!) I just love her! She's my fav out of that hatch. Yeah, if you're humidity is that high that you have condensation, I wouldn't worry about it either.

Brinseas are just so easy. I love mine. My first few hatches, I couldn't stand to watch babies roll eggs around and I wanted to take them out as soon as they were dry. Last time I made myself wait until the morning of day 22. Best hatch ever, just sayin'...

Yes they seem to be doing just fine. I can't wait to see the polish hatch. I had to do a quick slip. One of the shells cuped over another egg that had pipped and I didn't want to risk losing the one it was covering up so I just slipped it out really quick. I think it will be ok.
