okay so my broody hatched 2 white leghorn eggs and 1 brown egg either a rhode island red egg or a golden comet egg. the chicks just turned a week old yesterday. when they hatched 2 were white with a little black spec. the other was more yellowish. so now i am noticing they all are getting brown coloring around there body . i have two roosters that could be the father a pure white rock and a pure white leghorn. my question is if two eggs were leghorn eggs what makes them get brown coloring.
