Hatched Polish chickens...how do you tell the gender of this breed?

Have four chicks...all are just over two weeks old. I've been trying to figure out how you tell the gender of this breed. Any help would be great.


I think this is a rooster...

This is a close up of that bird...

I'm hoping this one will be a pretty silver laced..

This one is jet black and quite pretty...

I'm pretty sure this is a hen and hopefully will be a pretty gold laced...

All help is appreciated...what a fun breed this was to hatch. I can't wait to see how they all turn out!

So I thought maybe I should post some pics of when they first hatched. From what little I've read you are supposted to tell by the top of the head but I'm just not sure...

from looking at this pic and what I read maybe just the black is a rooster..

Did the black turn out to be male?

No the black, silver laced and one gold laced all turned out to be hens with a gold laced rooster. He's gorgous
