I have ten new Silkie chicks that hatched one week ago.

This was my first time hatching from shipped eggs.

I used to see chick photos that other people would post and wonder how they got their chicks to stand so still.

Then I took my chicks and put them on the chair, and they stood their paralyzed for a while like a deer in the headlights, so I snapped the picture real fast.
