Hatched this morning

This little one is the only one to hatch, out of three I set from my eldest hen. She is four now, and is a light Brahma. Daddy is a splash Silverudd rooster... one of the three wasn’t fertilized, and the other was apparently double yolked, and died off because of it... oh well, lol I bought some others for companionship though.... can’t wait to see this one older, has feathered feet! Like momma, and looks like should be a pretty blue color.

I am not a newbie to the game, lol yes I did get some for company though they are older by at least a week....

Ok, so my results on the genetic calculator says the males and the females will be blue. So, it wasn't sexlinked.

Nope, inly time will tell for it, if this one follows the usual pattern for the blue colored ones, I will know in about two weeks time... the blue cockerels grow the comb fast, and also redden fast
