Hatcher set - up question

I'm going to set up a second LG to use as a hatcher only. Is the fan really needed for the last three days or can I get by without. Would you spend the extra money ?

I think that you can do without it, but I would spend the extra money and get one.

a fan actually circulates the air to maintain a certain temp
but it also dries the chicks quicker
i'd say get the fan
