Does anyone know of any good poultry hatcheries in or around Minnesota?

Stromberg's isn't the breeder/hatcher for most of the chicks they sell--they are drop shipped from other hatcheries. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, and several other "hatcheries" do this. It's just something to be aware of if you are actually looking for birds not being shipped from TX, MO, NM, etc. I believe the show quality chicks apparently come from Duane Urch down in Owatonna.

There are several hatcheries in Iowa--Welp (again, all but broilers are drop shipped, I think), Sand Hill Preservation Center, etc.

Depending on what you are looking for, there are several BYC members that are reputable and have nice birds.
