Hatcheries that sell chicks in January?

The weather here has gotten much warmer after that cold snap we had, and I have been looking into buying some new chicks to add to our flock (we don't want inbreeding to be a problem). I know that MyPetChicken is selling chicks right now, as well as McMurray (though McMurray has a 15 chick minimum I think). I was considering MyPetChicken but wanted to know if there were any others that were shipping this month or in early February.

There are quite a few hatcheries that ship in January or early February.
But if you have a problem with McMurrary's minimum order of 15 chicks, you might not be happy with the other ones I can think of, either.

Hatcheries are typically not willing to ship small numbers of chicks during the winter months, because the chicks are more likely to get too cold and die. Larger numbers of chicks can keep each other warm more reliably than a heat pack can.

I just checked these hatcheries, and they all have at least a few breeds available within the next month:

It is not so much the minimum number by itself, as the minimum number plus they don't have much selection atm for breeds. I am looking at Privett and like what they have available, and will check some of these out as well. :)

Ideal has a minimum of about 8, and only a $20 ship/handling fee.

Mt Healthy has a minimum of 10 in January, with only a $10 ship/handling fee.

I like both of these hatcheries (as well as a few others) because you can order only one of each breed, and the ship/handling fees are reasonable for small orders!

Both of them look to have a pretty good selections of available breeds right now!
