Hatcheries with min. order like Ideals? or similar, not having to order 25 chicks?

Any other hatcheries that are like Ideal Poultry that have a $25 dollar min. order rather than 25 chicks? Or similar.

Cackle (City-Town small order special, or something similar)
Meyer
My Pet Chicken

I'm sure there are others

Meyer Hatchery in Ohio supplies many of the chicks for MyPetChicken.com. Depending on where you live, they will sell as few as 3-4 chicks. Beware that you will pay much more for shipping than you would getting 15-25 chicks from the same hatchery because of the packing and heat pack. If you can sell your extra chicks it might benefit you to go with a larger number since they stay warmer in transit.

Thanks, but it seems like those special orders usually have more expensive prices. I'll check.

Some hatcheries will send free extra male chicks to keep the others warm, and you have to pay for insurance if you don't want those. Meyer doesn't do that.

Oh, just seen your posts, eggcessive. (I posted at the same time as you) Thanks for the info, I'm looking into it. I was going to split an order with a gentleman from Ideal but they are sold out of everything we want.
