Does anyone know of a hatchery that has low shipping because I'm looking to order 10 chicks thanks

I think they're all pretty similar since shipping costs would be driven by the Post Office. Bear in mind most hatcheries have a minimum order of 25 chicks during the winter months. This is done so they all stay warm enough until they reach their destination. If you want to avoid shipping and minimum chick orders you can just buy them at your local feed store if you have one nearby.

Thanks i just can't find a feed store who carries black copper marans
 
Where are you located? Some hatcheries ship based on what zone you are in... so for instance, I am in MD and a hatchery in PA will ship me birds for 10.00$ bc I am in the same shipping zone.

The feed stores near me order from Ideal Hatchery which carries most breeds. I'm guessing other feed stores are middlemen as well since they don't hatch their own chicks. I'm sure if you ask them to order them in their next order they'll be happy to oblige you. They want your continued business through the sale of feed, etc. so they'll usually go outa their way for you.
