Hoovers Hatchery. 52 chicks for $99.75. I have only had 2 die and they sent alot of extras!

Foe you it would be $41.25 and shipping is between$6.45-$19.30. Very good people and great quality chicks. Had 2 die but they are already weak.

If you are in Missouri, Cackle has high quality birds. We got several white leghorns from them 2 years ago and they were healthy, calm (believe it or not!!) and egg laying machines. The stylish chicken in my avatar is one.

My Pet Chicken will tell you on the website the soonest available shipping date for each breed. I was just looking around, and they still have chicks available to ship pretty quick.

I use meyer hatchery out of OH. They have great customer service, decent prices, and even some rare breeds and difficult to find breeds if you are ever looking for an exotic chicken or 2.

Many TSCs have chicks and ducklings right now, but they only have 'bantam" "pullets (breed unmentioned)" and "straight run"
I dont recommend TSC unless you need them NOW. Ask the employees what breed they are and you just might hear "straight run." They have no clue 9 times out of 10.
$1.99 per chick straight run isnt terrible. Depends on how many you need, and the breed youre looking for. Leghorns at Meyer go for $1.44 each straight run if you get 25 or more, and $1.76 ea. for pullets.
That does not include shipping though
