Hatchery or Breeder of Salmon Favorelles

Any one know where I can get some? I read on here they are so tame- I cant remember where, but I saw one riding on a dear member of BYCS grandchilds bicycle handlebars- and the females are such a pretty color Thanks Kris

Meyer Hatchery has them and in numbers as little at three I realy love mine they are realy friendly birds.

I totally second the StormStryder Poultry suggestion. They have wonderful, sweet and friendly birds.

I also have some Faverolles from McMurray, and they are not very friendly, with lots of faults--black in the beard, etc. Not only that, some of them have feathering problems on their backs. Keep in mind that many hatcheries will get their birds from the same source, too.

I've been told Sandhill Preservation Center has good stock, but I can't speak from experience.

I really like my SF rooster. He's gentle almost to a fault. He's not readily handled, but I didn't raise him either, he was given to me.
