is Ideal hatchery good or Metzer Farms are they good?

I personally have not used those two. I have ordered from Meyer and Straumberg. I was impressed with straumbergs more than Meyer. I’ve ordered a few times from them. On the last order, I ordered 20 speckled Sussex (10 pulleys and 10 straight run) and 5 silver laced wyandottes. They sent 2 extra Sussex. All 27 survived and were happy and healthy. And I only ended up with 3 roosters. They are also affiliated/partnered with Mann Lake(beekeeping). They’re pretty extensive and the breeds I got were picture perfect as they matured.

I ordered from Ideal and my chicks are shipping tomorrow, so they will probably come Thursday. I can tell you how my chicks are when I get them. This is my first time ordering from Ideal, so I hope my chicks come safely.

is Ideal hatchery good or Metzer Farms are they good?

I've used Metzer for almost all my ducks before (sparing three that were a feed store impulse buy). never been disappointed with their birds. they're healthy, active and lay nice large eggs. not sure about show quality, i don't show birds, but they're definitely pretty.

i bought chickens from ideal and they have great prices should i buy ducks from them or metzer i cant decide?
