Hatchery Rhode Island Reds vs New Hampshire

Putting in an order to get some chickens later this spring, and am leaning towards Rhode Island Reds. Currently have some New Hampshires, and have liked them pretty well. Had never had NH or RIR prior to those. Had thought I would rather have tried RIR just due to preference in the darker color and from what I understand their rate of lay is some better.
I've really liked that the NH lay eggs with good quality shells and seem to be hardy. How is the egg quality of RIR? Is their disposition similar to RIR? How do they compare overall?

I had hatchery RIR before and liked them. I have two chicks now, and I am going to get hatching eggs I think.

To get the really pretty RIR from a hatchery I heard Cackle’s Show Quality RIR are the real deal colours wise.

I love my RIR 's I plan to get more. They are friendly and a hoot to watch. Very active and all personality.
