We are still at the breed guessing stage with our Hatchery surprise order from Cackle Hatchery.

1. Two Rouen ducks

2. Five chipmunk pattern chicks, straight combs, clean legs.

3). Unknown

4)

5) Unknown. Feathered feet, straight comb. Looks lighter feathered and smaller than my Cochin chicks.

6) Splash or Blue Cochin.

7) 2 Light Brahmas

8) 1 Buff Cochin

9) 2 Golden Laced Cochins - chicks are darker than their pictures appear

10) 3 unknown Cochins, possibly black, barred, or silver laced (and not convinced all are the same variety).

11) 2 Silver Laced Cochin

12) 3 unknown, possibly barred rock. Straight combs

13) 3 rose combed chicks, I am guessing Dominique.

14) unknown, straight comb. Guessing Columbian Plymouth Rock

15) 2 German Spitzhauben

16) 2 White Plymouth Rocks or Jersey Giants

17) 2 unknown chicks.

18) 5 Lakenvelders

19) 3 Easter Eggers

20) 3 Black Laced Golden Wyandottes

21) 3 unknown chicks, too much color for Buffs, straight combs.

22) 2 Blue Sumatras

23) 2 Royal Palm Turkeys, no pics right now.

I kinda confused right now on what you are asking but pictures #2 are OEGB and so is #3. #5 is probably a bantam Cochin. #10 look like 2 black Cochin's and 1 Barred. #16 are not white Plymouth rocks and #17 maybe a New Hampshire red or RIR. #21 maybe Buff orpingtons and I agree with the rest of your guesses :).

Just curious what anyone thought.

There aren't any bantams in this group. We have several pairs of nesting hawks in the nearby area, so I requested that they just leave off any bantam breeds so that they wouldn't become hawk fodder in short order. I'd rather get less chicks and have them survive than get a bunch of bantams that get carried off by hawks or other critters (not much cover for them here in SE WY). The smallest chicks we have are the ones that I am pretty sure are Blue Sumatras, the rest are around the same size, and a good bit bigger than the Sumatras.
