Your best choice would be to go to some poultry shows and buy from breeders. Generally the prices at poultry shows are $25 a bird and $50 for a pair or $75 for a trio, but some breeds go for more.i am just looking for chickens/bantams that i could breed and sell for lots of money, and later show in very good shows. (sorry for all the dumb terms.
Perhaps you should consider doing what I do. I no longer buy live chicks. I bought a 48 egg incubator on E-Bay with auto turner for $59.00 delivered. Now I hatch all my own birds. You can get a small quantity of fertile eggs shipped to you at a reasonable price in small quantities in just about any breed you want. There are small 4 to 7 egg incubators on E-bay for as little as $20.00 delivered. They work great. I started out with one of those and still use it. I have some quail eggs in it right now. I use the syringe to fill the water trough for the humidity and hand turn the eggs 3x a day. Quaint, but it works. Here's some chickens I hatched from that small incubator. They will be going outside when the weather warms up.i am just looking for chickens/bantams that i could breed and sell for lots of money, and later show in very good shows. You can get hatching eggs anywhere. Most hatcheries have 'em, shipping included, with hatching eggs and E-Bay has a lot of hatching egg sellers. Just read their reviews for past customer success. I've bought eggs on E-Bay and had pretty good luck as long as I've read their reviews from other customers. Feedback is always a good indicator of a sellers worth. That is what want to do! that is why i said i will take hatching eggs. I just don't know where to get them!
