Wich Hatchery would you Guys recommend ?and Why?

And if you order straight run what percentage would probably come out roosters than hens?

I recommend Cackle Hatchery. They are very knowledgeable, easy to work with and very accommodating. Straight run is straight run. One time you can get 50%, the next 20% and the next 100%, you never know what you'll get. That's the same for all hatcheries. Straight run is always a gamble, no way to judge how many of each you might get.

I ordered from Cackle last year and again this year. I recommend them also. Great service and very nice birds. I was really impressed with the growth rate of the cornish X I got last year. They were straight run an it was pretty close to 50/50. I got a few more hens than cocks but not many. Mostly there is not much advantage to order straight run layers from them and some like the broilers only come straight run.
