Hello everyone!
I have 2 hens that have gone broody this week and I think I'm going to try letting them hatch a clutch for me. My flock is a group of mutts, with one bantam hen and the rest large fowl, including the rooster. Is it a good idea to try to hatch a bantam egg, considering daddy is big and mama is little? Will the embryo be too big for the little egg and not hatch? I'm planning on only hatching a few eggs for each broody hen and have plenty of large eggs to give them. But I was just wondering what would happen with the bantam eggs.
