Hatching advice needed!

Wow! I was so unsettled last night, couldn't sleep and when i finally did i had a nightmare about freaky chicks popping out of our eggs!!!
Talking about paranoid!
Well, we have 2 beaks out today!!!!!!!!!!!! Only just this afternoon.
We are sooooo excited! My two younger children keep staring into it watching progress (keeping hands off it though).
We are just starting summer holiday in UK so they have plenty of time on their hands now.
I am very pleased to receive all your kind comments and advices, it was most helpful

OH NO! I am really worried my first Jersey Giant hatched 5 minutes ago but there is something not right....
Its very active, keep crawling around other eggs , not sure if that good for them...
But it has something like a lump of flesh stucked to it's bottom!
Anyone knows what it is???

This is probably a slightly unabsorbed yolk sac or slightly open navel. They usually dry up on their own but it depends how bad it is....do you have a picture?

Hi, Thanks! No, i haven't taken any pictures as yet. I will do it tomorrow .
It seem happy there, just running around all other eggs, squawking and creating chaos.
I think incubator is too hot & humid as this chick is still wet, 3 hours after hatching.
I may set up brooder in a minute, it will be more comfy i think...

Sending good hatching vibes your way
