hatching and raising chicks TIPS NEEDED

    hi im completly new to this and i was wondering if anyone had any usefull tips they could tell me about hatching and raising chicks

    ok 1st of all they are adorable trouble makers [​IMG]

    1. use an incubator.

    2. have a heat lamp and brooder ready when they hatch.

    3. the temp. should be 100 and hatching takes around 21 days.

    4. if you turn by hand, stop turning day 18, if you are using an auto-matic turner, unplug it day 18.

    5. do not open the incubator during incubation unless nececery.

    6. have a dish of water in the bator while incubating.
