I have a magpie/mallard mix duck hen sitting on eggs. Also, a pekin hen just started sitting on her eggs. How long does it take before hatching?? 28-30 days?? Both hens were on and off the eggs the first few days! Will the eggs be okay??Also, will the drakes be mean and hurt the ducklings? My magpie drake has been very good so far, at night sitting right beside mama.
