Hatching Buddies for Newcomers?

I made an account a while ago but i recently began using it a lot. I see the term "hatching buddy" like EVERYWHERE. What does that mean??What do they do? it looks interesting

A hatching buddy is someone who starts thier incubation on the same day as you

I started 16 Blue, Black, and Splash Ameraucanas a few days ago, along with 16 Rhode Island Red eggs. I can't wait for the hatch!!

I hatch twice every year and its been about 2 years.
