Hello,
I am trying to hatch my first batch of call duck eggs. I keep reading that they will sometimes hatch at 26 or 27 days.
Is this the rule or the exception? I am on day 27 and out of 24 eggs two of them have externally pipped and I can see movement in there. The other eggs I don't see anything. When i was candling them....most of them seemed to be developing normally.
At this point should I intervene or let nature take its course? i've read a lot that call ducks need home...however I don't want to be premature....if they will hatch on their own.
I just can't tell anything and I'm getting nervous.
