Hatching chicken eggs

i have 3 eggs under a broody hen they were due to hatch on October 4 th we are know on the 10 th October and still no harching,on day 20 I heard a chick inside 1 egg but nothing in the other 2 eggs,I have done a float test on day 25 and they floated like the link says but no movement tomorrow will be day 26 will they still be alive or should I discard them,I really don't want to do this but don't know what to do any suggestions please

Welcome to byc! I hope you enjoy it here! I would guess at this point the chicks have died inside the egg, i wouls give them another day, and if no change happens, I would throw them out.

If they are dead should I put some more under my broody hen as this is the second time this year she has been broody first time we didn't put any under her but this time round we did and know it sounds like they might have died unfortunately or is it best just to let her get out of being broody herself. I really hope they haven't died and I go down to see her tomorrow and there is something underneath her she's such a good hen sitting on them all the time
