~Hatching Chicks In The Cold~

For the last couple of weeks Ive been having my girls go pre broody then quit cuz I keep taking their eggs. I was wondering if they could successfully hatch a clutch in February or March or would it be too cold for the eggs to develop all the way. Oh and just in case its important, I always bring the chicks inside to my brooder cages after they dry under the broody.

I had a hen hatch out some eggs in a blackberry patch, with snow on the ground. I thought a predator had gotten her until she came out with the chicks. They went in the barn as fast as I could collect them, Still no heat other than what mama could give them.
Not the best idea, but sometimes mama knows best.
