We incubated and successfully hatched 15 chicks the end of last year. This go around has not been as successful. They were set to hatch this past tuesday (3/15) We had four hatch with no problems. We have had a few pip but then die. Then we had two that started zipping but made no progress since. You can see them moving around in the shell but they still haven't been able to get out of the shell. I followed the instructions for helping them hatch last night because it had been well over 18 hours with no progress. I went very slowly making sure not to harm the chick. once the chick was out he was very lively. He would squirm around for a few minutes then rest like the others did. But died overnight. There is one left that has started zipping but made no progress. I don't know what to do. I'm scared if I help him out he will die just as the one last night but I'm also scared he will die just laying in the shell. Any suggestions? in
