I picked up these 5 today I have a drake and his 4 girls. Lady told me they were 2 years old since I've had them home 3 hours now hes done his thing a few times but since they've been together so long I'm sure theres fertile eggs to be had. Now the hatching part she said that their survival rate in the egg is very low and hatch rates are low with this breed. Has any tried to hatch these before if I saved 20 eggs to hatch would I get 2 or 3 to make it. Just asking before I start trying.

breeding of crested ducks is very cruel. the crest is a genetic issue, which is why most will die during hatch. those that survive will be at risk of having future problems because of it. if you want to breed your ducks, please get non crested. also, if the boy tugs on their crests while mating it can also injure them.

Oh ok. I'll stick with my original plan just drop em off at the farm to live in peace then.
