I've searched and found several threads about this, but only ones that are saying, "Yep, I've done it successfully with no problems" or don't do it, or whatever.
But for those that have done it successfully, how'd you do it?
When did you set what eggs? What temp? What humidity? etc?

We are starting the planning for hatching in our preschool class. A teacher will be purchasing the incubator for herself and we'll use that. She'd like to bring home a handful of chickens and maybe a couple of ducks. Another school family was going to talk ducks last night. I might be able to convince DH to be ok with bringing home a duck or two if I can figure out how to sex them first. Maybe a couple of chickens (seems I can sort of almost accurately sex them after hatching based on feathers under the wings? is that just bantams?)

This will work fine. I've got both chickens and ducks in my incubator now. Okay. First, set the duck eggs first, then put the chicken eggs in a week after that. Keep the temperature at 99.5 F. Hope everything works for you :D
