I have a pair of Golden Cascades & a pair of Rouen Ducks. The Drake GC won't be the daddy, hes only been interested in the chickens & does not hang out with the ducks. Now I have them separated, the Rouen ducks kept fighting with GC Drake. ~With this clutch of eggs, I have Not noticed either ducks sitting on them. But, I'm sure that the Rouen started laying again in the same nest as the GC. Today the Rouen Hen was right there close by when we were getting some eggs, and I noticed a difference in the eggs. Some were a little larger(1 real big egg) & 1 egg, a Greenish color. ~Does the weather make a difference for the ducks when breeding? ~At what Age do they start laying eggs? Thanks, Julie
