Is it true that if you touch a ducks eggs they will abandon them? Our duck has been sitting on her eggs for about 3-4 weeks now, and my daughter wanted to feel them to make sure they are warm. Is this OK? Or should we just let her do her thing?

Well, if the mother is setting on them, they are warm. They've been doing this for eons to assure the continuance of the species. No a duck will not abandon the nest if you 'touch' the eggs. She might, however, bite you.

A broody duck can hurt a child really bad. They can be aggressive to protect the eggs.
Don't let a child be near an duck that's sitting on eggs. Becareful with going near it.
