Hatching ducklings and chicks simultaneously under hen?

So I've heard of hatching ducklings under a broody hen, is it possible to do it alongside a chick clutch?
Or would the hen abandon the ducklings prematurely because of the different in hatching dates?

Any information would be lovely!

You can just set the chick eggs one week after the ducks. We just had a hatch of three ducklings and four chicks.. It's certainly cute

Okay, so it does work.
Do the ducklings ever pick on the chicks?

i'm going through the same thing right now. with the time in between the chicks hatching and then the ducks hatching does mama get up to teach the newer babies how to eat and drink? mine won't get off the nest. my chicks are one day old today. its a mallard mama.
