I have been reading that ducks do not do well with auto turners. How many times a day should they be turned and how often?

Some people say 3 times a day, but my 12 year old DS hatched his own ducks out and only turned them twice a day. He tried to make it as close to every 12 hours as possible and out of 16 eggs, 16 hatched.

I have found that manually turning the eggs gave a better hatch rate- and surprisingly I also found them easier to candle as well. I turn mine two or three times a day depending on when I am home and what hours I am working but always make sure the intervals of turning are equally timed.
