I started with 6 eggs, 5 made it to lockdown (the 6th one quit early on) and last night I went to bed at around midnight and I knew one had pipped. I got up this morning and I had 2 little chickies in the incubator and the other two eggs have pipped. So if those two hatch out like they should I'll have 5 little silkie mixes

Heres a pic of the one I think is mixed with my sebright rooster.

(Sorry, I cannot find my camera for the life of me so I had to resort to using an iPod!)



the feet are blue and so is the beak, in person it is brown. The back is dark brown. It's adorable though. Sorry for the long wait

All 5 hatched! I think I'll post a picture of all of them later when the other two are all dry and fluffy. I got another chick that looks exactly like that one. So I got 3 yellows and 2 browns
